#OptOutside for a hike and a beer

Thanks for joining us to #OptOutside! If you'd like to leave a note thanking Jeff, the landowner and host, you can do so below.

To support REI's Black Friday #OptOutside movement we're hosting an awesome outdoor event!

Instead of spending your day in a mall trying to buy PokemonGo balls or whatever, join us at Durham's Hollow Rock Bluffs for a fun time outdoors. We'll hang out on the property and have a few beers (or waters) and snacks, enjoying the creek, the caves, and the rare birds.

We'll then cross the creek to hike the Duke Forest trails for a great, fun Friday in one of our state's most pristine parks.

In typical Rōmr fashion, this will be a pure outdoor experience you can't have anywhere else! Typically inaccessible and with a great view of New Hope Creek, spelunking caves, and spectacular beech trees, you'll see your local outdoors in a whole new way!

Bringing kids and dogs is encouraged! Dogs are permitted off-leash while on the Hollow Rock property, but must be back on their leash once we cross into Duke Forest. Kids can be on or off-leash, at parent's discretion.
